David. Your dad's surgery date is coming up soon. We will all be rooting for him! Keep us posted on how he is doing and how you are coping yourself.

David~ I visit this site as a stage IIIB lung Ca patient, feeling OK DX 6/07. My husband is a 3 yr. suvivor of prostate CA, with a gleason score of 9 . He recieved radiation and seed implants. There are some side effects but all in all, this is so doable. Wishing you and your family some peace after all this heartache. MK

David. Our thoughts are with you and your dad. Your family has been through more than any family should ever have to experience. While you are all going through this, you will find strength from each other. The important thing is to be open as well as supportive. Cancer is something that is much more bearable to deal with when you have all the facts and when you can all talk about it. Sometimes it will feel like it s too much - like an elephant in the room - but keep in mind that all of you will need some support from time to time. Keep us posted.
