<description>Jill. Reading your blog (http://dedicatedtomydad.blogspot.com), I can't help wondering if maybe your dad is suffering from depression. Cancer alone can throw you into a seemingly bottomless pit (it did with me) and blow-ups or apparent indifference can be signs. Throw in encroaching blindness and possible other age-related illnesses and that's a lot to handle. And depression can make everything else seem worse to the person suffering from it and to those around them.

You may have already had this checked out but, if not, have him talk to a professional. If he is reluctant to do it for himself, ask him to do it for you because you care.

I am so very touched by the love you have for your father. I miss mine very, very much.

		<description>Doug,

Amanda's post brought me to tears. How horrible.

I am amazed at the information you provided. I am going to look into some of these things for my father, but it seems like a lot of tests have been performed, but I just feel something is wrong with him that can be helped, we just don't know what it is or where to go with it?

Thanks again.
